BAGERHAT: Six persons were killed and at least twelve others injured after a bus smashed into a roadside tree in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat.

The incident happened at Kakdanga area of the upazila on Saturday (May 18).

Of the deceased, two workers were reported to be working on roadside and four others were passengers of the bus.

Casualties could not be identified immediately, Sheikh Abu Zahid, officer-in-charge of Fakirhat Model Police Station, told Banglanews.
