NAOGAON: Three persons were killed after thunderbolts struck them in Atrai and Porsha upazilas of the district on Friday (May 17).
Two youths--named as Hasan, 30 and Shafinur, 28- -were busy cutting paddy during rains in the afternoon. They died immediately after a thunderbolt struck them, Shahinur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Porsha police station, told Banglanews.
Meanwhile, Jahangir Alam, son of Khodabox, was killed while fishing in Atrai upazila.
