GAZIPUR: Two people were killed by train accidents at Joydebpur rail line in Dhirasram area under Gazipur City Corporation.

Accidents happened on Tuesday night (April 23) and on Wednesday morning (April 24).

An unidentified man, aged around 45, was killed on the spot around 11 pm. He was clad in a grey-colored shirt and black trousers, Subrato Das, sub inspector of Joydebpur railway outpost, told Banglanews.

Around 10 am, a youth, aged approximately 35, was also killed on the spot. He was put on a checked lungi and a blue-colored shirt, Subrato Das said.

Two bodies were sent to Dhaka Medial College Hospital to perform autopsy on them, SI Subrato Das added.
