NATORE:  A passenger of an auto van was killed after being hit by a bus in Baraigram upazila of the district.

The accident happened in front of Banpara police inspection center on Natore-Pabna highway on Tuesday (April 23).

The victim was identified as Sreepad Sarkar, 60, son of Santosh Sarkar, of Christian colony at Haroa village of the upazila.

Sreepad Sarkar died at noon while he was undergoing treatment at Natore Sadar Hospital, Banpara highway police station’s sergeant Md Sarwar Hossen told Banglanews.
