DHAKA: Law enforcement agencies are vigilant across the country following the series bombings in Sri Lanka that has killed at least 207 people so far.
Additional security measures have been taken ahead of the celebrations of Shab-e-Barat-for the Muslim community and Easter Sunday-for Christians
According to police headquarters, there are no possibilities of act of sabotage in Bangladesh following Sri Lanka blasts. Despite this, Bangladesh police are put on full alert.
“There is no impact of Sri Lanka blasts on Bangladesh and is no scope of threats across the country. However, law enforcement agencies have been kept on full alert after such a large scale incident,” Police Headquarters Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Sohel Rana told Banglanews
