SIRAJGANJ:  Police recovered three bodes including a woman and her daughter in Belkuchi upazila of the district.

Bodies were recovered from Dhidramatia Westpara area of the municipality and Dolgagrakhali area under Daulotpur union of the upazila on Thursday (April 18).

Bodies were identified as Rojina Khatun, 36, wife of Abdul Kader Master of Dhidramatia Westpara area and her 8-year old daughter Kaniz Fatema, and Abu Musa, 25, who was an autistic, son of Islam Sheikh of Dolgagrakhali area.

“Rojina Khatun strangled her daughter to death out of family feud. Later, she hanged herself,” Anwarul Islam, officer-in-charge of Belkuchi police station, told Banglanews.

Police, after recovering the bodies, sent them to the sadar hospital for autopsy. An Unnatural Death case was filed for the incident, OC added.

Abu Musa consumed poison. The body was handed over to the family as no allegations were made, OC also added.
