BRAHMANBARIA: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Sarail upazila on Thursday (April 18) morning.

The identity of deceased could not be known immediately. 

The accident took place when the motorbike riding by the duo ran over by a jeep while the bike overtaking in Derhtola area around 11:00am, leaving the bikers dead on the spot.

Being informed, police recovered the bodies and seized the jeep. But, its driver managed to flee the scene, said Md Hossian Sarker, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khatihata Highway police station.
