DHAKA: United States of America (USA) greeted the people of Bangladesh on the 49th Independence Day. 
 
The U.S. Embassy Dhaka posted the greetings on its official facebook page on Tuesday (March 26)

In its message, the embassy greeted the Bengali nation with a wish ‘Happy Independence Day Bangladesh!’

“The U.S. Embassy Dhaka community sends its congratulations to the people of Bangladesh. We thank you for the many years of friendship and look forward to many more” it added.

It also posted a picture of its officials carrying Bangladesh national flag to mark the day.
