BARISHAL: Transport workers reportedly have shut bus services from Barishal central terminal Saturday (March 23) morning protesting detention of a fellow driver following a road crash.

Barishal District Road Transport Workers’ Union President Jahangir Hossain confirmed the matter to Banglanews around 10:45am.

The workers have kept internal and long-distance bus services off to protest the early morning detention of a driver over a road accident in Tetultola area of Gariarpar, he said.
