BARISHAL:  A three-member probe body was formed following recovery of 31 bodies of immature babies (fetuses) from the garbage of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College (SBMC) in Barishal.

A letter, recommending suspension of the chief associate professor of Department of Gynecology Dr. Khurshid Jahan Begum and ward's nurse in-charge Josna Akhter, will be sent to the concerned ministry. 

The accused involved with the incident will be brought to justice, the hospital director Dr. Zakir Hossen told Banglanews at 12 am on Tuesday (February 19).

31 fetuses were recovered on Monday night (February 18).

Bodies were kept in the hospital morgue. Autopsy is to performed on Tuesday morning, said Nurul Islam, officer-in-charge of in Barishal Kotwali Police Station.
