NARAYANGANJ:  Two bike riders were killed and another injured as a truck hit a motorcycle on Dhaka-Sylhet highway on Saturday night (February 16).

The accident occurred at Aukhabo area under Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj district.

The deceased were identified as Hridoy Gazi, 30, of Mugda area and Sharmin Akter, 18, daughter of Zafar Miah, of the same area. The injured was Akhi Akhter, 16, daughter of Noor Alam, from Gazipur. Three of them were dancers.

The bodies were recovered while the motorbike and the killer truck were seized, Rafiqul Islam, Bhulta police outpost in-charge, told Banglanews.
