4 killed as bus runs over auto-rickshaw in Noakhali

NOAKHALI: At least four people were killed and two others injured in a road accident at Mirwarishpur in Begumganj upazila on Monday (Jan 21) afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place when a rashly-driven bus ran over an auto-rickshaw on Chowmohoni-Sonaimuri road in from of Rashidia Madrasa around 2:30pm, leaving four people dead and two others injured, said Firoz Alam Molla, officer in charge of Begumganj Police Station.
