DHAKA: Visitors won’t be allowed at Dhaka Shishu Park for a month due to renovation work of the top spot for children’s amusement in Shahbagh of the capital city.

The closure will continue from January 1 to December. 

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has taken the initiative to modernize the park by adding few new rides and mending few old ones. 

DSCC Superintending Engineer Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

The park, however, wasn’t mended in last 40 years.
