DHAKA:  Army will be deployed across the country between December 24 and January 2 as striking force for the 11th parliamentary election, says EC secretary.

EC secretary Helal Uddin confirmed the decision to Banglanews on Thursday evening (December 13).

The 11th national election is slated for December 30.
