ASHULIA (DHAKA) : A couple of RMG factory was seriously burnt and admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) following a gas cylinder blast in Ashulia-a suburb of Dhaka.
The incident happened on the ground floor of a 3-story building at Jamgora Chitrashail area of Ashulia on Wednesday (November 21).
The couple is-Md Rafiqul Islam and his wife laiju Begum-from Gopalpur upazila of Tangail District.
80% body of laiju Begum while 30% body of Rafiqul Islam were burnt, according to burnt unit doctors of DMCH.
“Prima facie, the stove may not be put out properly after cooking at night, as a result gas spread out the room. In the morning, the fire broke out when lighting a fire to the stove,” Lokman Hossen, Sub Inspector of Ashulia Police station, told Banglanews.
