JHENAIDAH: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 detained a member of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) after conducting an operation at a suspected militant den in Kaluhati village under Ganna union of Jhenaidah Sadar upazilla.

The detained was identified as Akhtaruzzaman Sagor.

Rab-6 Commanding Officer Hasan Emon Al-Rajib told Banglanews that they completed the operation at 9am and also recovered some ‘Jihadi’ books from the house.

The members of the elite force went to the village early Wednesday (November 21) and cordoned off the house of Sarafat Hossain around 4:30am.
