DHAKA:  Two women were killed in separate incidents in the capital on Monday (November 19).

“An unidentified woman, aged 35, was killed in a train accident at Kuril Bishwa Road area at dawn,” Nazrul Islam, Sub Inspector (SI) of Dhaka Railway police station (kamlapur), told Banglanews.  

“A 22-year-old housewife, Nupur Akther, was found hanging from her scarf at her residence in East Hajipara Bow Bazar of Rampura,” Enamul Haque, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rampura Police Station told Banglanews. 

“Rickshaw driver Dulal, husband of the deceased, killed his wife on suspicion of extra-marital affair and family feud,” OC said.

“The killer Dulal is being brought from his native home Sherpur to Dhaka,” the OC added.

The bodies will be sent Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue.
