DINAJPUR: A couple was crushed under the Titumir Express train while crossing railway line in Parbatipur Upazila of the district on Sunday (November 11).

The deceased were identified as Moksedul Islam, 35, son of Abdul latif, from Sreerampur village under Parbatipur Upazila, and his wife Sahura Begum, 30.

The accident happened at 12 pm while the couple, being on a motorbike, was crossing railway line on Parbatipur-Saidpur road.

The couple died on the spot. A case was filed with Saidpur GRP police Station, Emdadul Haque, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station, told Banglanews.
