RAJBARI: Three persons were crushed under a train in Jamalpur area of Baliakandi upazilla of the district on Friday (October 19).

The deceased were-Shakil Sheikh, 20, son of Shukur Ali of Tulshi Borat village of the upazila, Sarwar Sheikh, 22, son of Shahid Sheikh, of Baharpur union, and Imran Sardar, 22, son of Elem Sardar.

All of them were workers of Rajjak Khan Jute Mill located in Ashapur area under Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur district.

8 injured were transported to Baliakandi Upazilla Health complex and Faridpur Medical College Hospital (FMCH), AKM Ajmal Hossen, officer-in-charge of Baliakandi Plice Station, told Banglanews.
