DHAKA: A media wing member of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) was arrested in city on Monday noon (October 16), according to the claim of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC).
The arrestee was-Sayeed Hasan alias Shuvo, 27.
Media and Public Relations Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) issued a press release on Tuesday (October 16).
Shuvo was involved in spreading propaganda in social networking sites, DMP said quoting CTTC unit.
He was also shown arrested in an anti-terrorism case filed with Demra police station on February 25, 2018.
