Agrani Bank cashier charged with embezzling Tk 3.25 cr

MEHERPUR: Law enforcers on Tuesday (Sept 25) arrested a cashier of Agrani Bank on charge of embezzling Tk 3.25 crore.

The arrestee, Mahmudul Karim, was posted at the state-owned commercial bank’s Meherpur district branch.

He was nabbed around 9am, Meherpur sadar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Rabiul Islam told Banglanews.
