Crew of PM’s flight grounded over positive drug test Grounded Biman crew Masuma Mufti

DHAKA: A female crew of Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been grounded for hiding her dope test result that came positive before Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s London flight.

The crew member is identified as Masuma Mufti.

Moreover, her supervisor Nuruzzaman Ranju was served show-cause notice over the matter.
Confirming the matter, Biman managing director (MD) AM Mosaddique Ahmed said one employee was show-caused and another grounded as per rules of the Airlines.

It is to be noted that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday morning (Sep 21) left Dhaka for London in a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight on her way to attend the 73rd General Assembly of UN in New York.

Right before PM’s London-bound flight, crew member Masuma’s dope test result came in positive but she somehow managed to hide the information from higher authority.
