DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will place fresh specific proposals at the 73rd UN General Assembly to resolve Rohingya crisis.

Besides, Sheikh Hasina will also deliver a speech on world peace, safe immigration, rights of the Palestinian people and other current issues.

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali briefed media about premier’s official tour at his ministry on Thursday (September 20).

“During the previous 72nd UNGA session, Sheikh Hasina placed 5-point proposal for safe repatriation of Rohingya refugees. She will press on the same issues with specific proposals in continuation of her previous session," Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali said. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will deliver her speech at the 73rd UN General Assembly session in Bangla. 

She is scheduled to leave Dhaka for New York to attend the UNGA on Friday (September 21).

On her journey, the premier will take a break in London. Then, she will fly in a flight of British Airways for New York on September 23.

The general assembly will be held from September 23 to September 29.
