DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to be awarded with two awards from separate organizations in recognition of her visionary leadership worth to be followed, to handle Rohingya crisis.  

The awards are—International Achievement Awards and Outstanding Leadership Award.

The premier will be handed over the awards while she will join the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

Foreign Minister Abul Hasan Mahmood Ali disclosed the matter at a press briefing at his ministry Thursday (Sept 20). 

Inter Press Service News Agency and Global Hope Coalition will honor her with the awards on Sept 27, for her roles while handling Rohingya issue. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to leave here for London Friday (Sept 21) morning en route to New York on an official visit to the US to attend the 73rd UNGA Session.
