SIRAJGANJ:  Police arrested four leaders of BNP-Jamaat in possession of six molotov cocktails in a drive launched at Golokpur area under Salanga thana of the district on Wednesday night (September 19).

“BNP-Jamaat leaders were holding a secret meeting to commit act of sabotage. On information, they were detained along with 6 molotov cocktails,” said Ohedujjaman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Salanga police Station on Thursday (September 20).

A number of cases are filled against the detainees on charges of hampering police duties and of sabotage, OC added.
