DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has assured the journalist community not to be concerned about the proposed Digital Security Act-2018.

The premier gave this affirmation at a meeting of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) held in the National Press Club on Thursday (May 17).

Sheikh Hasina said, “Journalists have nothing to be worried about Digital Security Law. The government won’t do anything to put into trouble.”

The prime minister also asked the journalists to highlight the achievements of her government to countrymen.
