DHAKA: Popular folk singer Bari Siddiqui is now on life support.

He was put on the life support at Square Hospitals in Dhaka after he suffered heart attack early on Saturday (November 18). He is now at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

The 63-year old Bari Siddiqui has been suffering from multiple complications, including kidney problem and diabetes.

The family members said that Bari Siddique is a kidney patient for the last two years. He has been undergoing dialysis three days in a week since last year.

He was first admitted to Ibn Sina Hospital and shifted to the Square Hospitals early on Saturday.
