HABIGANJ: Two brothers were killed in a lightning strike in Baniachong upazila of Habiganj Friday (October 13).

The deceased were identified as—Arfan, 27, and Babul, 17, sons of Akkas Ali in Bagahata village under Kagapasha union in Baniachong.

Bagahata Ekota High School Headmaster Abdul Mannan told Banglanews that the thunderbolt struck them while the duo were en route to home at around 10:30am.   

Baniachong Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) M Mojammil Haque told Banglanews that they have inspected the spot.
