DHAKA:  A Dhaka court placed a Sub Inspector (SI) of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police on a two-day remand for allegedly robbing Taka 5.5 lakhs.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashok Imam gave the remand order for Rashedul Alam as Investigation Officer (IO) of the case and SI of Wari Police Station produced Rashedul Alam before the court with a seven-day remand prayer on Monday (January 13).

Rashedul Alam is, son of Shahidullah, a resident of Bhuighor village under Fatulla police station of Narayanganj district.
