NARAYANGANJ:  A Narayanganj court awarded life imprisonment to two drug dealers who were detained by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from Fatullah of Narayanganj on November 29 of 2009.

Judge Sheikh Sultana Razia of district and sessions judge’s court of Narayanganj delivered the verdict on Thursday (September 5).

The convicts were also fined Taka 5000 each.

The convicts were--Suman Hawlader, 39 of Patuakhali and Sahabuddin, 33. Both of them are absconding after securing bail.

RAB detained the two drug dealers in possession with 268 bottles of Phensedyls.  RAB filed a case with Fatullah Model police station under Narcotics Control Act, Narayanganj district court’s Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) Jasmin Ahmed said.
