DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Wednesday (May 15) sent lawyer Imtiaz Mahmood to jail in a case filed under ICT Act.

Metropolitan Magistrate Satyabrata Shikder issued the order after rejecting a bail plea. 

Banani Police Station General Recording Officer (GRO) Sub-Inspector Sheikh Rakibur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Police arrested Imtiaz Mahmood from his Banani residence in the morning, in the case filed with Khagrachhari Sadar Police Station in 2017.
