DHAKA: The oath-taking ceremony of new Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain was held at Bangabhaban in the evening on Saturday (February 03).

Born on Dec 31 in 1954 in Comilla, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain started practicing law in 1981 and two years later went on to practice in the High Court.
