 Australia set Bangladesh 382-run target

DHAKA: Australia has set 382-run target for Bangladesh in the 26th match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Thursday (June 20).

Opener David Warner’s second century (166 off 147) in the World Cup helped his side post the huge score (381) in their stipulated 50 overs. They, however, lost five wickets. 

Besides, UT Khawaja contributed 89 off 72 balls from 10 boundaries and AJ Finch (c) scored 53 off 51 balls with five boundaries and two sixes. 

For Bangladesh, Soumya Sarkar hauled three wickets for 50 runs while Mustafizur Rahman picked up one wicket. GJ Maxwell was run out. 

Earlier, Bangladesh have won against South Africa in their World cup opener and secured emphatic win over West Indies.
