DHAKA: Pacer Taskin Ahmed was ruled out of Bangladesh’s squad for World Cup 2019 due to ‘lack of fitness’.

As the squad revealed Tuesday (April 16), he couldn’t stop hiding his agony.

Taskin broke down in tears while talking to reporters.

The 24-year-old paceman was out of the national team since Tigers’ South Africa tour in 2017.

He again suffered injury after performing satisfactory in BPL this year. 

“Everyone cherishes good. There is opportunity in future. I will keep my efforts uninterrupted,” said a disappointed Taskin on Tuesday.

The pacer missed the Australia World Cup in 2015 and is now surviving another spell of rejection.
