Papon becomes President of Asian Cricket Council

DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon has been made the president of Asian Cricket Council (ACC). 

ACC’s outgoing Pakistani president Ehsan Mani is replaced by him, at the ACC’s annual general meeting held in Lahore Saturday (Nov 17). 

BCB boss Papon, as the fourth Bangladeshi, has been instated for presidency at the Asian Cricket playing nation’s controlling organization, for two years.

Nazmul Hasan Papon has become the successor of Anisul Islam Mahmud, Ali Asgar Lobi and AHM Mustofa Kamal who served in the same position at ACC in 1989-91, 2002-2004 and 2010-2012.
