CHATTOGRAM: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said not only in Chattogram City Corporation election, the party will take part in all upcoming elections.

He also said: The decision was not right to stay away from a number of elections earlier. As the BNP is a democratic party, change of the government  should come through elections in a democratic way.  

The senior BNP leader was exchanging views with the leaders of Chattogram City BNP and associate organisations at Kazir Deuri party office in Chattogram city on Tuesday (Feb 11) afternoon.

He also said,” We will participate in all local government elections. The decision was taken earlier. We are also taking part in by-polls.”

“There is a decision of the party in taking part in the local government polls. We are still determined to do it. Participation in election is their biggest movement at this moment,” the Mirza Fakhrul added.
