DHAKA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained six activists of the banned militant outfit Ansar al-Islam in Dhaka and Satkhira.

RAB-4 detained them while conducting drives in Uttara of Dhaka and Shyamnagar of Satkhira last night.

RAB (Legal and Media wing) Senior Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan confirmed the matter.

Details will be disclosed at a press briefing to be held at RAB media centre later on Saturday (Nov 16).
