DHAKA:  A Dhaka court sentenced BNP MP Harunur Rashid to five years in jail in a case filed for embezzling money through buying duty-free cars and then selling them.

Sheikh Nazmul Alam, a judge of Dhaka Special Judge's Court-1, gave the verdict on Monday (October 21).

Harunur Rashid became MP from Chapainawabganj-3 constituency with sheaf of paddy symbol.
