DHAKA: Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad has been admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Wednesday (June 26) due to old-age complications.

At the meeting of the party's Chittagong and Sylhet Divisional Organizing Committee of Jatiya Party, its Acting Chairman Ghulam Mohammad (GM) Quader revealed the information about Ershad’s admission in CMH.

The JP chief has been suffering from serious ailments for long. He goes to CMH everyday for regular health checkup, GM Quader added.

 He also went to a Singapore hospital after the national election, GM Quader, the younger brother of Ershad, said. 

Meanwhile, in the meeting, he said health condition of Ershad was stable.
