NARAYANGANJ:  A female Union Parishad (UP) member was stabbed to death by miscreants in Rupganj upazila of the district on Wednesday (June 26).

The accident happened at Westgaon area of the upazila.

Beauty Akther Kuttri was an UP member of Kayetpara union.

Legal action will be taken following proper investigation and arrest of the miscreants, Mahmudul Hasan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rupganj police station, told Bangalanews.
