DHAKA: BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Thursday (March 21) criticized prime minister over the imprisonment of the BNP chief saying Sheikh Hasina doesn’t even want Khaleda Zia alive.  

“Took the leader to her chosen United Hospital today and stop the efforts of ‘killing her’. Do release her,” he said.

Rizvi was addressing a press briefing at BNP central party office in Nayapaltan of the capital city, around 11:30am.

He also criticized Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda and Election Commission (EC) Secretary Helaluddin Ahmed over vote rigging. 

BNP Chairperson’s advisor Abdus Salam, Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon, Co-organizing Secretary Abdus Salam and Co-office secretary Munir Hossain, among others, were present.
