DHAKA:   The Ruling Awami League has sold 1510 nomination forms for its 43 reserved seats (women) in the 11th Jatiya Sangsad.

On Friday (January 18), 125 aspirants bought forms on the fourth and the last day of sale.

The price of nomination form was fixed at Tk 30,000. 4 crore 53 lakh Taka has been earned selling 1510 nomination forms.

Election Commission (EC) is set to announce the polls schedule for the total 50 reserved seats on February 17. 

Out of 50 reserved seats, Jatiya Party gets 4, Jatiya Oikyafront 1, independent other parties together get 2 seats.
