DHAKA: Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukdar boycotted a meeting of the commission again for not being able to present his speech on five to-do list for a fair election.

Issuing a ‘note of dissent’, Mahbub Talukdar left the 36th EC meeting ten minutes after it started on Monday (October 15).

However, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda continued the meeting with other three election commissioner- Md Rafiqul Islam, Kabita Khanam and Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury.  

Earlier on August 30, he boycotted another meeting of the commission issuing a ‘note of dissent’.
