DHAKA: The government has decided to modernize the Sanchay app further so that users can easily access all necessary information about savings schemes directly from the app.
With this update, users will be able be find nearby offices that provide services regarding savings schemes.
The decision to update the app was taken in a meeting, presided by Additional Secretary Md Nurul Absar, at the conference room in Finance Ministry recently.
In the meeting, Nurul Absar directed officials concerned to add an additional feature to the app, with the integration of Google maps, so that users can find nearby service stations through it.
Currently, the app users can only get information about savings schemes, interest rate, and investment condition.
Md Nuruzzaman, joint secretary to the Department of Internal Resources, said: “We are upgrading the Sanchay app with more helpful features for its users.”
Sanchay app, the official app for general public information about savings scheme of Department of National Savings, was launched on March 17 marking the Mujib year. It is available on the google playstore for everyone.
