Bangladeshi youth shot dead by BSF men in Jessore

BENAPOLE (JESSORE): A Bangladeshi youth was reportedly shot to death by members of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF).

The incident occurred near the Dhanyakhola border under Benapole police station in Jessore on early Friday (July 3).

The deceased was identified as Md Reazul, 25. 

Confirming the matter to Banglanews, Dhanyakhola BGB Camp Commander Subedar Sarwar Hossain said: "On information from the locals, members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) found the body next to the border fence. Later police recovered the body from there.”

It is being suspected that he was shot dead by members of India’s Bashghata BSF camp. 
Benapole port police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mamun Khan said the body was sent to Jessore 25-bed general hospital morgue for autopsy.
