DHAKA: Abdul Mannan has been appointed as the secretary of the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health.

Public Administration ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday (June 4).

Abdul Mannan earlier served as the chairman of the Land Reform Board.

Md Ashadul Islam, served as the secretary to the Health Services Division, has been transferred to the Planning Division amid criticism over the handling of the mask scam during the Covid-19 crisis.
