The coronavirus (Covid-19) death toll has climbed to 344,025 worldwide till Sunday noon (May 24, Bangladesh Time).

A total of 54,07,419 people have been infected and 22,48,36 people have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to latest data from worldometer.

A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.
 
In USA, 16,66,828 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 98,683 people have died and 4,46,914 people have recovered.

In UK, 2,57,154 people have been infected from coronavirus. Of them, 36,675 patients have died.

In Italy, 229,327 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 32,735 people have died and 138,840 people have recovered.

In Spain, 2,82,370 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 28,678 have died and 196,958 people have recovered.

In France, 1,82,469 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 28,332 patients have died and 64,547 patients have recovered.

In Brazil, 3,49,113 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 22,165 people have died and 1,42,587 have recovered.

In Germany, 1,79,986 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 8,366 people have died and 1,60,300 have recovered.

In Iran, 1,33,521 people have been infected in the coronavirus. Of them, 7,359 patients have died and 1,04,072 people have recovered from the disease.

In China, 82,974 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 4,634 people have died and 78,261 have recovered.

In Russia, 3,35,882 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 3,388 have died and 1,07,936 have recovered.

In Canada, 83,621 people have been infected from the disease. Of them, 6,355 people have died and 43,305 have recovered.

In India, 1,31,920 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 3,869 people have died and 54,441 people have recovered from the disease.

In Bangladesh, 32,078 people have been infected with coronavirus, Of them, 452 people died and 6,486 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
