DHAKA: Bangladesh has confirmed one more death from coronavirus disease in the last 24 hours climbing the death toll to 21, said Health Minister Zahid Maleque on Thursday (April 9).

Besides, 112 more people have tested positive, raising the total number of coronavirus cases in Bangladesh to 330, the minister added.

The minister came up with the information while addressing an online health bulletin on latest coronavirus situation of Bangladesh.

A total of 33 patients so far recovered, according to IEDCR.

Besides, the death toll from the coronavirus or COVID-19 has crossed 88,000 globally as of Thursday afternoon.

Coronavirus has so far infected more than 15 lakh people around the world, according to worldometer.
