CHATTOGRAM: Three doctors among 18 staffs of National Hospital in Chattogram were sent to quarantine after they handled a patient who was later confirmed as a coronavirus patient.
Chattogram Civil Surgeon Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter to Banglanews at 10am on Saturday (April 4).
He said the doctors and other staffs of the hospital handled a patient who later tested positive for coronavirus.
The IEDCR advised them to send all of them to home quarantine, he added.
Bangladesh on Saturday reported two more deaths in the last 24 hours pushing the death toll to 8 and nine new cases of coronavirus, raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 70.
