CHATTOGRAM: A student of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on Monday succumbed to injuries he received in a road accident in Litchubagan area on Chattogram-Kaptai highway in Chattogram on Saturday.

Tahmid Chowdhury was a student of computer engineering department in CUET died while undergoing treatment at Intensive Care unit (ICU) in port city’s hospital on Monday morning while undergoing treatment.

Moshiul Haque, director of student welfare affairs in CUET, confirmed the matter.

He said, “A truck collided with a CNG, coming from opposite direction in the area on Saturday, leaving him injured”.

Later, locals took the injured to the hospital and died on Monday morning.
